A Passion for Puppies That Started Early

Hello! I’m Kristin and I am the founder of KZ Doodles, a trusted breeder of Goldendoodle puppies in Idaho! I have always loved animals, especially dogs. It all started when I was two years old with my first puppy, “Rufus.” From that moment, I was hooked on raising and caring for dogs—and I knew one day I would pour that same passion into creating healthy, happy puppies for other families.

Family Life and Puppy Raising in Melba, Idaho

Together with my husband, Tad, and our four children, we live in Melba, Idaho, just outside Boise.

  • Tad is extremely busy living his dream of running the family farm.

  • I’m living my dream of raising children and family‑raised Goldendoodle puppies.

  • We pour our hearts into each puppy to ensure they’re healthy, well‑socialized, and ready for their new families.

I’m not simply providing you with a pet—I’m providing you with a new family member who will bring endless joy, love, and loyalty into your home and your heart.

Preparing Puppies and Families for Success

We believe it is important to not only prepare our puppies for success but also to help families feel ready and confident about bringing a Goldendoodle puppy home.

We want you to feel:

  • Educated about your puppy’s care and needs

  • Supported every step of the way

  • Completely confident in raising your mini Goldendoodle or standard Goldendoodle

You will see the difference in our puppies! We go the extra mile in our training because we know it makes a lasting difference in creating confident, healthy, and happy Goldendoodles.

Training Techniques That Make a Difference

We use many proven methods with our puppies, including:

  • Puppy Culture protocols

  • Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

  • Empowered Breeders methods

  • Temperament testing

  • Unique socialization methods we’ve developed from years of experience as a responsible breeder in Idaho

Crate Training

Starting at four weeks old, we introduce the “open-door” crate. Gradually, we work up to our puppies sleeping through the night at seven weeks old in their crates.

Potty Training

Starting at three weeks old, we add potty trays so that right from the beginning they learn there is a “place” to go potty. As they grow and their play area expands, they quickly understand:

  • There’s a place to sleep

  • A place to play

  • And a place to go potty
